CHRISTMAS HUSTLE AND BUSTLE | DAY TWENTY-TWO

Hi there!
-
Yesterday, I took a trip into town- not for any christmas shopping or anything like that, just for a day out. It was manic. People everywhere trying to find their last presents for the people they've forgotten about, or the people who just leave it until last minute. Either way, there was people everywhere. Now, I'm not saying I've fully done my christmas shopping or wrapping *realises how much wrapping I actually need to do!*.
So what is it about christmas hustle and bustle that makes me feel kind of festive? I'm not too sure! Maybe its the rush and people knowing that christmas is in three days- eek! I haven't felt festive at all this year, just throwing it out there. I don't know how to feel festive, maybe I need to blast the christmas music from the speakers or put up even more fairy lights in my room!
Do you feel festive? How can I get festive?

LITTLE WAYS TO RELAX | PART TWO | BLOGMAS DAY TWENTY-ONE

Hi There!
-
Today, I thought I would bring to you the second part in my little ways to relax series!
The part today is going to be about reading.
Sometimes, sitting down, reading, pulling yourself away from the world is nice. Relaxing, escaping your current stresses.
At the moment, I am reading The Twelve days of Dash and Lily. I am really enjoying this book at the moment- its quite light hearted and sweet, but also kind of festive. I would recommend it if you want something light to read before bed.
I also picked up today the new Blogosphere magazine with Zoella on the front! I have had a quick flick through it, and it is amazing. If you didn't know, blogosphere is a magazine which is written by bloggers, specially for bloggers.
I'm really sorry this is short, I forgot to schedule a post for today and didn't want to miss a day!
I'll see you tomorrow for another post!

A FEW THOUGHTS... | BLOGMAS DAY TWENTY

Hi there!
-
Now this is going to be a more serious post, but I feel like it needs to be addressed. I don't normally talk about world issues on my blog, but I feel like I should today.
You may have heard about the incident in Berlin, which happened yesterday. What happened what wrong, destroying and heart breaking. This world isn't safe anymore.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is, my biggest thoughts and all my love goes out to anyone effected by the incident.
I honestly hope that one day we can live in a safer world.
All my love x

MY FAVOURITE THREE CHRISTMAS FILMS | BLOGMAS DAY NINETEEN

Hi there!
-
So today, I thought I would put together a collection of my favourite three christmas films!
-
Okay so the first one has got to be elf. This has Will Ferrel in as Buddy, who plays this role fantastically. I feel like this is a real family film, with such great humour. An absolute christmas must have. I actually watched this last night, so I have some refreshed knowledge on it! I'll give you a little plot run down. Buddy is an 'elf' picked up an an orphanage when he was a baby and grew up as an elf. One day, he finds out he is actually a human and goes on a track to NewYork City to find his dad. The film explores his relationship with his new family and friends and him trying to find the christmas spirit again.
-
The next film has got to be Jingle all the way. I watched this film last year for the first time and it was brilliant. The film is about a a father who has promised to get his son a turbo man action figure for christmas, but every store is sold out. He then travels to loads of stores around town and competes with all of the many other shoppers trying to get one. This film is hilarious and definitely relatable at times. I loved it.
-
The final film which I love is Home alone! I don't want to spoil the film and I know that if I start talking about it, I will ramble on until I have nothing else to say, so I looked up a plot line thats very brief to explain it. The film is basically about a boy who is left alone on his own while his family are on holiday and he has to try and protect the house from being burgled.
I absolutely love this film, it is so funny and brilliant. If you haven't seen this, go watch it!
-
Thats my top three picks! I'll see you tomorrow!

Whats your favourite christmas film?

DIY CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATIONS | BLOGMAS DAY EIGHTEEN

Hi there!
-
Today, I thought I would share with you a diy christmas tree craft which I think is really cute, quick and easy!
-
You will need:
Paper (preferably green, but it is your choice)
glue
scissors
pens!
-
a little trick to use the whole page!
1. Take your piece of paper and cut it into a square. If you want quite a big tree, you want to use most of the page. It is important to make the square as even as possible.

-
2. Once you have your square, fold it in half to make a triangle. You then want to cut along the edge. DO NOT cut along the folded edge. You want to turn your triangle so the folded edge is facing up. You want the right angle on the left side.
-

3.  The next thing you want to do is cut in thin strips up to the folded edge, but not right to the edge. You can see in the picture how I have done it.
-
4. Once you have cut the whole way down the triangle, you want to unfold the piece of paper and turn it so the point which the strips go

out from is pointing towards you.
-
5. I would advise, to keep it as mess free as possible, to put a thick strip of glue down the centre.
-
6. Begin to fold the strips on one side into the centre and into the glue. If you are confused by this, see the picture beside.
-
7. Once you have done one side, you might want to put a strip of collate over the glued down sections to keep them from falling out.
-
8. Repeat steps 5-7 down the other side.
-

9. If you have a bit left on the top, feel free to turn this into a star!
-
10. You are now free to decorate!
-
I hope you enjoyed this little diy! This should take only 10-15 minutes once you get the hang of it!
Good luck!

Also, I'd just like to apologise about the mess of pictures around the page!

FEELING FESTIVE? | BLOGMAS DAY SEVENTEEN

Hi there and welcome to blogmas day 17!
-
There are eight days until christmas! But I'm not feeling festive yet. I've listened to so much christmas music, watched a few films, put up the tree, decorated, brought presents, been to several christmas markets and had my last day of school, yet I'm still not feeling festive.
What do you do to get festive? Are you feeling festive?

THREE THINGS I'VE LEARNT IN 2016 | BLOGMAS DAY SIXTEEN

Hi there!
-
I'd like to think I've learnt a lot this year. I mean lessons I'll keep with me, not just the stuff you learn at school (which I am currently free of, thank you christmas!!).
I don't really know if you will find these interesting, but hey, we'll see!
-
1. Labels dont define you
-
Anxiety. Depression. Bipolar. Emo. Goth. Hipster. Straight. Gay. No label can define you.
I started this year with a group of friends who were labeled as a group, for example, goths. Now, we definitely were not all goths, but we all gained that label, even though it was just a phase. Not everyone liked having that label, it caused a lot of tension, but we have also learned to laugh about it, to embrace it, because even though we aren't technically 'goths' anymore, some of us were once upon a time, so we have earned that label, and it definitely doesn't define who we are.
This year, I also made a gay friend. He and I became friends very quickly and I still count him as one of my best friends. I soon learned his struggles of being gay. He was and still is being labeled. People say that he can't do this and that because he's gay. But because he has the label, it doesn't mean he can't do certain activities.
These labels don't define who you are, you are so much more that that.
-
2. Laugh
-
This year, I've learnt to laugh. I don't mean to physically laugh, well I do. obviously I've laughed before, but I mean to laugh when things go wrong. Last year, I frequently found myself getting annoyed when things went wrong or crying if I did something stupid. I suppose thats normal. This year, I would say I've learnt to laugh a lot more. When things go wrong, just laugh, life is too short to get annoyed or upset over everything. Of course, like normal people, I still get upset, but I'm working on improving it.
-
3. it doesn't matter what other people think of you
-
As long as you are happy, it really doesn't matter. Now, I've definitely learnt this, but maybe not quite achieved it, so I can impart wisdom on you, but it really doesn't matter what people think.
-
So thats my three things I've learnt this year!
-
What have you learnt?

see you tomorrow

WINTER AND AUTUMN ESSENTIALS 2016 | BLOGMAS DAY THIRTEEN

Hi there!
Today, It thought I would talk about some of my autumn and winter essentials 2016 edition.
-
1. Zoella bake my day body mist and hand cream
-
I mentioned this the other day in my blogmas day six, I believe and so I'm not going to ramble about it. If you haven't read that post, I would love it if you were to check it out, but anyway. It was £11.00 and perfect for this time of year! The scent is a gingerbread scent with vanilla undertones which gives it the perfect definition between food and spray. I am obsessed! Also, the body cream is really lovely. It has the perfect consistency and a little but goes a long way!
-
2. Scarf
-
Of course, being the UK, its starting to get a bit chilly! I have been wearing this scarf a lot recently and its just a simple checked one, with pink, blue and grey colours. I like the fact that is quite thin, so its transportable and not bulky, but its also quite long, so I can wrap it around me. Mine was £7 or £8 from Peacocks last year, but I don't think they sell the same one this year, but I know that Primark do one really similar and maybe even a bit cheaper.
-
3. Two- pom pom beanie
-
I have become obsessed with beanies recently! So when I found one with TWO pom poms, I was so happy! The one I have was £9.99. It is a gorgeous beige colour, with the poms which match. I really like this beanie because it stretches and you can adjust the shape. I would definitely recommend new look beanies if you like the soft and stretchy ones!
-
4. Timberland classic 6" boots in wheat
-
I love my timberlands and they are pretty much all I wear. Now, I should probably mention that these are quite pricey, but I think are worth it. I actually picked up mine in the sale for quite a bit cheaper than they should have been. I think timberlands are one of the best boots for this time of year and a lot of them are actually waterproof which is perfect considering the UK pours it down most years.
I have them in the wheat shade, which is the classic brown shade. This is personally my favourite shade, probably because I'm a bit basic and I like to keep it classic. But if you wanted Timberlands and didn't like this shade, there are many many more to choose from!
(Timberlands are usually around £160.00. I am not trying to brag in the slightest. I just thought I would include these as they really are my holy grail and I am very very lucky to have a pair.)
-
5. Candles
-
Candles once again are making an appearance in blogmas! I'm not going to ramble, but if you want, you can check out my candle post!
-
6.An Umbrella
-
Of course, this time of year, you are going to get some rain in the UK. So, you will probably need an umbrella. My one is one of those really cool dome ones you can see out of. I picked mine up from Peacocks for £7.00.
-
7. Superdry Pop Zip Hooded Arctic Windcheater Jacket
-
I love my super dry jacket, partly because it's my warmest one, partly because it has thumb holes. I really recommend superdrug jackets, they are so warm, waterproof and perfect all year around really.
They are a bit more expensive, but really good quality and definitely worth the price.
(Superdry Pop Zip Hooded Arctic Wincheater jackets are usually around £69.99)
-
8. New Look Boxer Jumpers
-
I am absolutely obsessed with boxer jumpers at the moment. I wear mine all of the time and they are only £7.99. They come in a range of colours including duck egg blue, burgundy, browny orange colour, black, grey etc.
I love wearing these on cosy days with leggings, tucked into my corduroy a line skirt, with jeans, they pretty much go with anything!
-
9. Baby Lips Classic
-
Okay, I don't think this has a name but I just use the standard blue one, which is perfect for this time of year. I carry this pretty much everywhere because its perfect this time of year!
This is something like two or three ninety nine.
-
So thats about it for today! See you tomorrow!

LITTLE WAYS TO RELAX CHRISTMAS EDITON- BATHTIME (PART ONE) | BLOGMAS DAY TWELVE

Hi there!
-
So today, I thought I would start a new little series on my blog, which I am going to call little ways to relax! I am going to kick this off with a bath time edition, which is also going to be christmas themed.
-
Sometimes, its just amazing to relax and one way I like to do this is by having a bath, so I thought that I would share with you the things I do to make bath time the perfect relax.
-
The first thing which I like to do is to use a bubble bar or bath bomb. These usually come from Lush. I absolutely love Lush bath bombs. At the moment, I have been using a lot of the christmas bath bombs, so I thought I would share with you a few of my faves!
The first one that I have been loving is the Father Christmas bath bomb. This has the same scent as the snow fairy shower gel. If you haven't smelt this, it is a very sweet candy like scent, kind of like candy floss.I personally love sweet scents, so this is definitely one for you if you like them. Now, as for the actual bath bomb, it is a pinky red colour, with white features. I expected the bath to become a gorgeous pinky colour, but when I put it in the bath it went a bright green. It was amazing and it smelt lovely!
-
I also have the Candy Mountain bubble bar, which is probably my favourite bubble bar of all time. Again, this is quite a sweet scent and probably not one for you if you don't like them. If you have ever smelt the rockstar soap, it is the same as this scent. As it is a bubble bar, you obviously crumble this under warm running water and it creates some amazing bubbles and turns the bath a deluxe pink.
-
A final bath bomb I wanted to share with you was shoot for the stars. I really liked this bath bomb! The blue pigment in the water was amazing. The oils from the stars were lovely and it smells amazing! I think this smells kind of like caramel. I am obsessed!
-
Some other bath bombs I have but am yet to try are autumn leaf and big bang.
-
The next thing which I like to do is have a shower gel. My favourite at the moment is the Snow fairy shower gel by Lush. I won't ramble on about this much, because I have already explained the scent.
I think the scent of this lasts for ages and makes my skin feel really soft and silky. I am going to be stocking up on this before christmas is over!!
-
The final thing I like to do to complete the bath relaxation is light a few candles. At the moment, I love to light the yankee candle snowflake cookie tealights. If you want to know more about the candles I have been loving, make sure to check out my candle post!
-
I think thats about it for today, check back tomorrow for another post!

DECORATING FOR CHRISTMAS? | BLOGMAS DAY ELEVEN

Hi there!
-
So todays post is a bit of a debate post. Now, there is a lot of speculation as to when people decorate for christmas. I personally decorate on the first of December, but I know a lot of people don't decorate until the twelfth. So I'm intrigued, when do you decorate? I'd love to know!  And also, do you have a colour theme? In our house its red and gold, what about you?

Sorry this post is so short! I'm just intrigued!

WINTER MAKE UP SPECIAL | BLOGMAS DAY TEN

Hi there!
So, today, I am going to be sharing with you the make up products I have used for my winter look. Obviously, being an anonymous blogger means that I will not be sharing pictures of myself, but I will be putting the products pictures somewhere in the post!
-
One: Collection Lasting perfection concealer. Shade: 1 -fair
-
The first thing that I do with any make up look is concealer. I pop a little bit of this under my eyes and blend it. I tend not to put too much on at this stage because if you get fall out from your eyeshadow, you can put more concealer on in the minute. To blend this under my eyes, I used a standard beauty blender (which I won't include because I haven't washed it recently... oops!) and begin to dab it out to the outer rims of my eye. Once I feel like this is fairly blended, for the finishing touch, I use the Real Techniques Setting brush, to give it a more even coverage and blend any harsh edges I might have gathered.
I then pop a bit of concealer on any spots and blemishes I might have and do the same. My one tip for doing this is putting the concealer on the back of your hand, because then the germs won't spread into the pot.
-
Two: Natural Collection Pressed Powder. Shade: Warm
-
Okay, so I have had a love hate relationship with this powder. It's not the best, I will say that. But recently, I find that it has been quite good, specially as my skin still isn't quite matching my concealer since summer, but also evens out my skin tone. Other than that, it does the job. I just pop this over my face using a real techniques multi tasking brush. This just sets my concealer.
-
Three: collection contour and highlight palette
-
The first thing that I do with this pallet is take a Icing Contoured Powder Brush and pop a little bit of the contour shade in the hollows of my cheeks, along my non-existent jawline and down the sides of my nose.
I then take a Real Techniques angled highlighter brush and pop a little bit of the highlight on my cheeks. I love this because its so subtle, but in the light, it makes your cheeks look amazing!
-
Four; Tanya Burr Galaxy Eye Palette. Shade: Snowflake
-
I just take a little bit of the snowflake shade on a real techniques eye shadow brush and take this under my brow and in the inner corners of my eye.
-
Five: Urban Decay Naked 2 eyeshadow Palette. Shade: Half Baked
-
I just take the half baked shade on the brush the palette comes with and put it all over my eye, right up to the crease. The half baked shade is a really lovely bright gold shade, perfect for the wintery time of year, and summer, and amazing for christmas parties!
-
Six: Tanya Burr Holywood Eye Palette. Shade: Bookworm
-
I take the bookworm shade on a real techniques eyeshadow brush and blend it through the crease. I think this gives an amazing warmer tone to the look. I would say though, that if you want all out sparkles, avoid this shade, because it is more matte, which contrasts to the glittery half baked shade.
-
Seven: Clinique High Impact Mascara
-
Next, I use this mascara, which is from Clinique. I love this mascara, it gives a really lovely natural look, but also a very dramatised elegant lash look. And actually, for a high end product, its not actually that expensive. I love it.
-
Eight: Concealer
-
I then go back in with my concealer again, if I have any fall out.
-
Nine: Maybelline Lip Gloss Vivid Matte. Shade: Rebel red 35
-
This matte lip is amazing. It's a really bright red, which I think is amazing for this time of year and it lasts for a really long time. It's also really easy to apply. It really finishes off this look perfectly.
-
Okay, so I think thats everything! I love this make up look, and I hope you do too!
What make up do you use this time of year?

THOUGHTS | BLOGMAS DAY 9

Hi there!

Day nine already? Isn't that crazy? How, sometimes we wish for things, like our birthday, or christmas, and then its gone in an instance, just, like, that. In a click of the fingers. We wish for opportunities to come around, we dream of everything amazing that could happen. But when they come around, we don't take a moment to appreciate them, to step back. To enjoy it.
Now, if you're anything like me, you'll know that sometimes, its easy to just let the opportunities go and not embrace them.
Next year, I'm going to embrace them, take them by the hand and go for it. Will you?

FESTIVE COLOURS? | BLOGMAS DAY EIGHT

(as I am writing this, I can hear someone going down my road whistling jingle bells! How festive!)

Hi there!
So this one today is more of a thoughts post. I was doing some thinking after a debate I had with someone recently, and I was thinking about how we have different labels. Now, thats a whole other post- one I am going to pre-write to go up after christmas/ in the new year. Anyhow, thinking about labels made me think about how we associate different colours with different things. One of the things with associate different colours with is seasons, and as we all know, it is currently autumn. So this got me thinking (rare, I know!). What colours do I associate with Autumn? Of course, like many other people, I choose the browns, the ashy tones, the reds, oranges, yellows, the warmer the colour the better! But I also thought- actually, there are many cold colours which I think of when I think of Autumn. The dark blues, verging on the edge of purple, the purples (of course!), the plums, the berry tones, the greens and more. Then theres the winter colours, the blues, the plums, the greens, reds and whites, even the beige and browns. There was so many I'd forgot about then I thought about it.
This lead me to think about people and how there are many more of them. I thought about how people are just like colours, how easy we forget about them, but are stored at the back of our minds.
I guess the point of this post is to say, let people know you care this christmas. Of course, I don't mean for you to make a massive gesture, like a present, sometimes, even a card to someone you don't normally send one to, just because you forget, might mean to world to them. Or even to your family, to say thank you for giving me the world.
What colours have you forgotten about? Will you show them that you care?

BLUE BOOKS TO READ THIS CHRISTMAS! | BLOGMAS DAY SEVEN- COLLAB

Hello Everybody and welcome to blogmas day seven!
-
Todays post is a collab with the absolutely amazing a day in the life of the anonymous me !
-
So today, I will be sharing with you my top BLUE books! If you don't know how this works, it is where I pick out some of my favourite books which have a blue cover/ spine!
Sorry, had to include the wrong coloured spines!
-
1. Frozen Charlotte
-
Okay, so I have a lot to say about this book. Also, I'd just like to point out that the version of this book that I have is the Zoella book club edition, so the spine isn't entirely blue like the original, but the cover is, so I guess that counts!
Onto the actual book! I loved this book. I tore through this in less than a day- thats how amazing it was! Without giving away too many spoilers, this book is about a girl who plays with a ouija board (always a bad decision!) and asks of her dead cousin. This playing then leads to a chain of events, which all connect to the board.
This book is definitely not one for younger readers due to the horror sometimes and scenes which may upset some readers, but is probably more suited to 12+ ( I'm not too sure on age ranges, it's just my guess, obviously you can read this if you are below 12, its just my recommendation)
I'm not massively into horror type films, so I wasn't expecting to like this book, but as soon as I started it, I could not put it down. It's so gripping and every page leaves you wanting more. Probably one of the best books I've read in so long!
-
2. All the Bright Places
-
This book is just amazing. I feel like the way that the issues within the book are described perfectly and the fit so well. This book was inspirational. It was everything I wanted in a book. Again, without giving too many spoilers, I am going to try and explain the story. The book is about a girl, Violet Markey, who is grieving over the loss of her sister and boy, Theodore Finch, who wants to take his own life. They meet on the ledge of the schools bell tower and their story unfolds from there.
I thought this story was fantastically told and beautifully written, although the end made me want to cry! (Please don't spoil it in the comments if you've read it, I don't want to ruin it for anyone!)
Also, I've heard they are making a movie out of this book, I am so excited for it!
-
3. Girl Online
-
Of course, I had to mention this one. I loved this book. The book is part of a trilogy and is about a blogger, Penny, from Brighton, who has an anonymous blog, Girl Online, which is actually where I got the inspiration for this blog from! For Penny, things are going from one bad extreme to another and when she has to go to New York for christmas, it feels like an escape. Although, she has to survive the plane journey! In New York, Penny meets talented boy, Noah Flynn. Noah doesn't know about Penny's blog, only her best friend Elliot knows, but he has a secret as well, one that threatens to ruin Penny.
I loved this book and I feel like Penny was written as a  relatable character. I also like how serious issues, such as anxiety, were discussed and well executed, (as written by anxiety sufferer, Zoe Sugg). I couldn't have loved the book more. I would really recommend giving it a read.
-
4. Lying about last summer
-
This book is about a girl, called Skye, who's sister has died in a tragic accident. A summer later, Skye attends a summer camp for grieving teenagers to try and get away and have fun again, until she starts receiving texts from someone claiming to be her sister.
I really liked reading this book. I thought it was a bit Pretty little liar style, but in a different way. I picked this up from the Zoella Book Club and thought it would be something that I would really like and I did. I really liked how it was written and it felt really well structured, with flashbacks explaining the events, making it easy to follow.
-
5. If I was your girl
-
Okay, I should probably start with the fact that this book was also from the Zoella book club, so it has a slightly different cover, but I can assure you that the original cover is blue.
This book is truly inspiring. The book tells to story of a transgender girl and her journey from being boy to becoming a girl and her struggles in high school and her family and friends accepting her in her new life and form. The book is written by a transgender women, so you can tell where her experiences have come from and made the book really well put together. I feel like if there is one book you must read from this whole list, it is this one. It was simply amazing, tear jerking and moving. I can't think of a more inspirational fiction book I've read.

The next blue book I want to read: The twelve days of Dash and Lily

THREE BODY SPRAYS IM LOVING RIGHT NOW! | BLOGMAS DAY SIX

Hello Everybody!
-
So, today, I am going to be sharing with you three body sprays which I am loving right now. I  have made them as festive as I could, so I hope you enjoy!
-
1. Zoella Bake my Day body mist
-
So this comes as part of a set with the body cream. The mist is full sized and the cream is a miniature version. This set was £11.00.
The scent is a lovely gingerbread smell, so I couldn't not include this! It stays on for ages, I can assure you. I just love it!
-
2. Vanilla Body Shop Spray
This was £7.00, I believe. I am obsessed with this scent! It smells so lovely. I would describe it as a really classic vanilla smell, with no added extras etc. Its quite a warm scent, so I would say it is perfectly suited for this year around. Again, I would say this lasts the majority of the day.
-
3. Zoella Blissful Mistful body mist
I am going to start by saying, this one doesn't last as long as the other two, but its amazing smell makes it worth it. This was £8.00. The scent to me is like an autumn scent, quite strong, but also very subtle when sprayed. For the last two years it has been out, I have sprayed it every autumn and winter. I am obsessed!
-
Sorry that post was a bit short, it is going to be a lot longer tomorrow I promise! Also, tomorrows post will be up at the slightly later time of 5:30pm Uk time. (I normally try to post at 12:00)

What are your autumn/winter scents?

IM SO PROUD OF MYSELF | BLOGMAS DAY FIVE

Okay, so a little interruption to blogmas, but I just wanted to record this on my blog because I wanted this to be a place where I could do this, but today, I did something I am really proud of. Today, I got in a car without feeling the slightest bit anxious.
Okay, so this may sound so totally pathetic and I do not want this to be a pity vote or anything like that and I wouldn't say I suffer with any kind of anxiety I just get quite anxious in the car, partly due to the fact that while being in a car, our family car has been hit quite a few times in the back now. But today, I got in a car and didn't feel anxious at all. And I know for a lot of people, that is so easy, but for me, I felt anxious for ages and today I did it!
And I really am not calling any kind of pity vote or anything like that, I just want to record it for myself and for any of you who might have a similar issue, you can do it. Just believe in yourself!
I hope you understand!

LETTING GO | BLOGMAS DAY THREE

Hello everybody!
So I had a post planned for today but then I had this post in mind which I wanted to post, so this post isn't christmassy, but I hope you enjoy it!

I used to have a fear of letting go, whether that was my old clothes going to a charity store, or letting go of a friend. I had a fear of change, and to a certain extent, I guess I still do.

The other day, I saw a little girl with a white puffer coat, one just like I had when I was younger and it made me think about how scared I was of letting go of my toys and clothes, but then I thought, but they went to a better home, where they would get played with and worn, just like they were meant to be. Sometimes, letting go and change is good.

I guess friends are like this, sometimes you have to let go of them. And I know, no matter how hard they make your life and cause you so many issues, they just keep coming back and its hard to let go. You remember the memories and all the times you had together. I suppose what I've remembered is sometimes its best to let go, because you just don't need them anymore and maybe, if they're causing you so much stress and many issues, they don't need you or deserve you for that matter.

Have you ever had something you were afraid to get rid of? I'd love to hear your stories!

I just wanted to get that off my chest, so I hope you enjoyed! Tomorrows post will be a bit more christmassy and fun!

TOP 5 FESTIVE CANDLES! | BLOGMAS DAY TWO

Hello everybody and welcome to blogmas day two!
-
So today, I thought I would share with you a few of my favourite festive candles. I have managed to narrow it down to five and coincidentally, they all happen to be yankee candles, so I hope you enjoy!
-
Snowflake cookie

I am absolutely obsessed with this candle. When you take the lid off the jar, it smells like freshly baked cookies to a tee and it is an absolute dream, I can assure you! This is probably my favourite yankee candle, ever! I had this last year and used it up so fast and I was so excited to see that it was back this year! A dream!

-
Christmas eve

This candle is definitely up there with one of my favourites! I don't really know how to describe this one. If you've ever smelt this candle, I think you will know what I mean, so I'll describe it the best that I can. This smells like a scent that you would definitely burn around christmas. Of course, you could burn it all year round, but I feel like it is one which you would burn around and nearer to christmas. It's a very warm scent, in the sense of, its kind of heavy and not really a light scent. If you are intrigued by the smell of this, go into the yankee candle store and smell it then come back here and let me know, I would love to hear how you describe it!
(okay, so I looked the candle up on the yankee candle website so I could get it right, heres what it says:
Traditional holiday scents of a warm hearth, sugared plums and candied fruits.
Fragrance Notes:
Top: Orange, Almond, Lime, Lemon
Mid: Red Berry, Cinnamon, Nutmeg
Base: Violet, Amber, Creamy Praline, Vanilla

Top note is the initial impression of the fragrance, middle note is the main body of the scent and base is its final impression.)

-

Snow in love

I love this candle. I actually got it as part of a set last year, which actually contradicts the fact that I love it (I was trying to save it!). This smells so amazing, its a kind of fresh scent but also kind of warm. It's a really wintery, snowy scent, kind of vanilla scented in a way. To me, this scent is more limited to winter than perhaps some of the other scents, but definitely a must have winter scent!

-
Cherries on snow

For a winter scent, I found that this has quite a fresh scent, however, it definitely has deeper notes to it. The cherries definitely give it a lighter and fresher scent, but I feel like the 'snow', kind of like the snow in love candle, give it a deeper and heavier scent. This makes the PERFECT balance.

-

Berry Trifle

This is a real deep cherry, berry type of smell. This smells a-m-a-z-i-n-g! In it, you can smell the creamy scents of a trifle, but mixed with the cherry smells. It smells kind of fresh, but its definitely a wintery scent. I love this. It smells amazing, its the perfect christmassy scent, I am obsessed!

So that was my top 5 festive candles, like I previously said, these are all from Yankee candle and range from around £8.99 to around £21.99.
I hope you enjoyed this post!
See you tomorrow!

THERES A WORLD OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW | BLOGMAS DAY ONE

Hello everybody and welcome to blogmas day one!
-
'Theres a world outside your window and its a world of dread and fear'
-
It's the first day of blogmas! So for the first day, I thought I would kick it off with a kind of lyric analysis. I think I'm going to do a few of these over the month, so I hope you enjoy!
-
I think this lyric (from 'do they know its christmas?'- band aid 30), is really important. Not only was this song written for an amazing cause, but if you think deeper into the actual meaning of the lyric, there is a lot to think about.
There is in fact a world outside your window, places that may not be as fortunate as you or me, to have a place to stay or afford christmas this year and thats actually quite a scary thought. There are people that hate christmas (my mum for example!!) but they have their own reasons for hating it, (cooking dinner and mess everywhere!), but when you think about it, there are many more reasons why people hate christmas, ones that aren't just about mess and cooking! So next time, just think how lucky you are.

-
I hope you enjoyed that post about a christmas lyric, I know its only short, but I hope it might have opened your eyes to something!

MY CURRENT FACE CARE ROUTINE

Hi there!
At the moment, I'm trying to establish a blogging routine and I have quite a few ideas, so I'm pre- writing some of the posts, so if my schedule is a bit messed up and there are double day posts, I'm sorry and I hope you enjoy them! Anyway, on to the post!

So, a section of my blog which I would like to introduce is a beauty section, which I am going to kick off with a skin care routine!
Before I start, I would just like to say I am no kind of beauty guru and quite frankly, I don't have a clue what I am talking about, so wish me luck!

Wipes

The first thing that I do is wipe my face, whether I've had makeup on or not. It gives a good start to the regime and if you've been wearing make up, you should wipe it off. (Which I'm awful at remembering to do!)
I have a variety of wipes which I use, I change it up quite a bit, so I won't say a specific brand.

Face scrub

Next, I like to use a face scrub. The one which I use is the Simple Kind to Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel. I love this. I basically just put a little bit on my face and rub it in, a little bit goes a long way, and I just keep rubbing this in until it has foamed up a little bit and all over my face. Then I just take a shower puff and use a bit of warm water to wipe it off. I find this so refreshing and it makes my skin feel so soft and less cloggy.

Moisturiser

I then use the Simple Kind to Skin Rich Moisturiser. You can actually get a rich facial wash gel i believe, but I got the refreshing one because it seemed the best one to me personally! Again, I find with this, you need a generous amount, but not loads, because otherwise your face with just feel so greasy. This soaks into my skin so well and makes it feel hydrates and soft and everything you want from a moisturiser!

Tea-Tree Spot Stick

I love using spot sticks! They really clear up my spots and make my skin look really good. I also find that the one I use is not harsh on the skin and is amazing. I use the Superdrug Tea Tree Spot Stick. Obviously, there are much more expensive ones which you can get, but I actually really like this one and it does the job!

And thats actually about it for my facial regime, pretty simple, but it works for me! Also, if you'd like to buy any of these products, I will leave the links down below:

I hope you enjoyed this different type of post!

DANCING THROUGH THE STORM

it may be stormy now, but it will never rain forever.

I guess thats something we've all learnt over the years. We've learnt to dance through the rain and jump in every puddle, deep or shallow. To take every opportunity, it could be life changing. But what happens if it goes wrong and it feels like it can never go right again? What happens then? It feels like your whole world is crumbling down around you, but it can't. You can get through it, I have faith in you. Make the most of it, dance through the rain. It will teach you so much. It maybe stormy now, but it will never rain forever.

(I'm not sure about this kind of post, it was short, but I kind of like it, it feels real, what do you think, let me know in the comments

MOVING PAST A FRIENDSHIP?

I've always wondered if you can outgrow a friendship, ever since I read it in Girl Online, is it actually possible? Or is it just a saying, a metaphor for what it is like. I mean, technically, yes it is, but its also the truth.
I have recently learnt this, it is in fact possible to out grow a friend. I thought I would share an experience which I have recently gone through, so I can maybe help you, if you're going through a similar thing to me, or if its you that might be involved.
I had a friend, my best friend in fact, who I could share everything with, I thought. We were inseparable, until recently.
It started small, with the little things, like not talking as much, Of course, I didn't think much of this, who would? It made me sad, but I thought we would be able to start talking more again, I guess I was wrong. In the small time, where we talked less, she had made a new friend. Now, don't get me wrong, its amazing to have other friends, thats not the part that concerned me. It was the fact I was cut out completely, over a number of weeks. Like anyone would be, I was confused, I didn't know why, we had had no arguments, or anything of that sort. One day I was her friend, the next day not. Turns out, she had a better offer.
(I'm not sure if any of you are actually finding this interesting, sorry if I'm boring you!)
For some strange reason, I was hanging on, trying to get my friend back, as well as being friends with her new friends, I wanted to fit in, I didn't want to loose her.
Now here comes the lesson I learnt.
Sometimes, its okay to let go. I found myself holding onto a piece of string, which would eventually snap and I would be the only one who got hurt.
I've only just realised this, in between the moments I was left out and more, until it got to a point where I just laughed about it.
Don't leave until later like I did.
Of course, don't just leave your friend, straight away, recognise the signs, you'll know them, every friendship is different, so I can tell you. But if its on going and its really getting you down, thats when you know. You've just got to keep moving past it.

Has this happened to you? How did you get by? I'd love to know!

(ending? I'm not sure let me know!)

You can now follow me on Bloglovin' if you'd like! I'd really appreciate it!

A REAL INTRODUCTION TO MY BLOG

Hello!
I have decided to start a blog so I can let go of any of the emotions fizzing up inside of me, like a diary almost, although, I'm going to try and keep this one up!
I've had a blog before, not too long ago actually, which I gave away my first name and it was a bit more of what I wanted it to be- professional beauty blog.
After a while (1 and a half years to be precise!), I decided to give that blog up, I mean, I might still post sometimes on it, but it wasn't a place where I could really post what I want.
So you might be thinking (if anyone is actually reading this!), what am I going to be posting?
Well, to be quite honest, I'm not too sure! I'm going to see where this blogging journey takes me, but I suppose a couple of things which I might post are obviously my thoughts, maybe some beauty stuff and photography. I guess we'll all have to wait and see!
So what am I going to tell you about myself?
Not a lot, actually! Some of it, you will learn as we go along, but I suppose all you really need to know is that I am from the UK and I am a school girl, so expect some teenage dramas!
I'm not going to be giving away my name, to keep this blog as anonymous as I can! I'm not really sure why I'm keeping this blog anonymous, I think its so I can tell my stories and post whatever content I want without being judged and worrying that people might find it.
I'm not really too sure when I will be posting yet, I don't think I am going to have a set day, it will probably be when I feel like writing or if I have a funny story to tell, and believe me, I have a few!

Whats left to say? I'm sure I've probably left something really obvious out! If you have any other questions, leave them in the comments and I might be able to answer them!

Sorry for this mismatch of a post, I hope they will make more sense in the future!
I look forward to this blogging journey!

WELCOME TO MY BLOG

Hi there.
I have decided to start a new blog, and I'm keeping it anonymous. I want this is be a place where I let out any emotions and stories (believe me, I have a few!) which I want to tell, without being scared of anyone finding it.
For anonymity reasons, I won't be sharing any pictures of me, my name, where I'm from (apart from the UK) etc.
I hope this blog has a little something for you, I can't wait to see what you think!
