DIY CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATIONS | BLOGMAS DAY EIGHTEEN

Hi there!
-
Today, I thought I would share with you a diy christmas tree craft which I think is really cute, quick and easy!
-
You will need:
Paper (preferably green, but it is your choice)
glue
scissors
pens!
-
a little trick to use the whole page!
1. Take your piece of paper and cut it into a square. If you want quite a big tree, you want to use most of the page. It is important to make the square as even as possible.

-
2. Once you have your square, fold it in half to make a triangle. You then want to cut along the edge. DO NOT cut along the folded edge. You want to turn your triangle so the folded edge is facing up. You want the right angle on the left side.
-

3.  The next thing you want to do is cut in thin strips up to the folded edge, but not right to the edge. You can see in the picture how I have done it.
-
4. Once you have cut the whole way down the triangle, you want to unfold the piece of paper and turn it so the point which the strips go

out from is pointing towards you.
-
5. I would advise, to keep it as mess free as possible, to put a thick strip of glue down the centre.
-
6. Begin to fold the strips on one side into the centre and into the glue. If you are confused by this, see the picture beside.
-
7. Once you have done one side, you might want to put a strip of collate over the glued down sections to keep them from falling out.
-
8. Repeat steps 5-7 down the other side.
-

9. If you have a bit left on the top, feel free to turn this into a star!
-
10. You are now free to decorate!
-
I hope you enjoyed this little diy! This should take only 10-15 minutes once you get the hang of it!
Good luck!
-
Thats just a
sprinkle of my world x

Also, I'd just like to apologise about the mess of pictures around the page!
